Made by counselors, for counselors

We built the thing we kept needing.

Just Counseling Things grew from real counseling, supervision, teaching, presenting—and plenty of “where is that handout?” moments.

Just Counseling Things founders Rikki and Ashley together
Two counselors, one shared filing-cabinet problem, and a growing community.

A network—not a know-it-all

If we don’t know, we know how to find out.

Counseling is too broad—and people are too complex—for any one clinician to know everything. Through years of clinical practice, teaching, supervision, presenting, and continued training, we have built a trusted network of counselors, educators, supervisors, and specialists. If we do not know the answer, we usually know who to ask or where to begin looking.

Clinically grounded

Resources should support sound judgment, ethical practice, supervision, and thoughtful care.

Actually useful

We favor practical tools you can understand and use without a dramatic scavenger hunt.

Human on purpose

Credible does not have to mean cold. Counselors are people, too—usually tired people with five tabs open.

Find the thing. Help the person. Keep going.
