We all know that when we are experiencing feelings of overwhelm our brain has difficulty accessing information to help us cope with those same feelings. For individuals with ADHD or other executive functioning challenges this is even more difficult, especially with the task of decision making. One of the unique challenges for neurodivergent individuals is making decisions surrounding food. Many times ADHD individuals may have difficulty remembering food that is available to them, things they enjoy, or issues with food hyper fixations or aversions, this becomes increasingly difficult for those who also struggle with ARFID (Avoidant Restrictive Food Intake Disorder), or texture difficulties, which is more common in the neurodivergent community. This printable worksheet was designed to help the neurodivergent individual to have food options readily available for when hunger strikes, or even in developing a healthier eating routine or relationship with food.

Encouraging clients to utilize this worksheet  to develop a "list of options" of foods they enjoy, OR foods that they currently have available in their home to eat when they become hungry. Having this made available to them helps to develop more autonomy in the ability to combat difficulties with motivation and task initiation when it comes to eating. You can also encourage them to keep it close by or in a central place for easy access.

This worksheet can be printed and distributed to clients for use in sessions, as homework, or as an independent resource. This design specifically has mountains as a symbol of strength against adversity, if you are interested in a different design, please see the other listings in our shop. We also have a full bundle of resources available in this same theme.

You have unlimited access to this resource; the color scheme is blue and gold.
